meet ben.Ben Olson understands that creating great brand experiences
requires a unique blend of creativity, inspiration and strategic vision. For over 2.5 decades, he has generated a strong history of marketing success. Throughout his career, Ben has maintained a keen focus on developing and managing integrated marketing success stories. Ben earned accolades for experiential and promotional campaigns during his tenure at Momentum Worldwide, a top global experiential marketing agency. In his role at mg, Ben both created and headed their internal engagement marketing agency, magnify™, leading a team of strategic, creative and digital associates who put their focus on creating the attendee experience, exhibit intelligence and integrated marketing programs that extend opportunities well beyond the event. Additionally, Ben was the Vice President of Marketing for the mg brand, leading the creation of marcomm, digital, trade show and branding elements, while repositioning the brand from exhibit house to experiential marketing company. At Global Experience Specialists (GES), Ben was a strategic member of the Corporate Accounts leadership team, originating the role of Vice President, Experiential Engagement with a focus on creating strategic engagement plans for GES' large client base. Additionally, he spearheaded the initial development of virtual options when COVID-19 brought the industry to a halt. Most recently, Ben led the experiential marketing program for NSF International where he developed best practices for physical and virtual events on a global level. He designed multi-day virtual conferences, developed the virtual environments and executive produced. He also sharpened his skills in Salesforce and Pardot and Zuant, introducing the fast-tracking of leads directly from field to CRM. He also developed tools to track ROI and drive more intelligent decision making moving forward. Today, Ben enjoys the variety and flexibility of consulting and helping brands, large and small create meaningful connections with the target audiences. When Ben is not fostering brand connections, he might be found in Door County, WI managing the family cottage business, or enjoying family time, boating, cruising, travel or mid century architecture. Ben resides in Milwaukee, WI making him convenient to key Midwest markets and is always happy to hop in the car or on a plane for a meeting, a strategy session or a pitch opportunity. |
